Local 1771, founded in Charleston, on June 9, 1950, provides Marine Clerks, Chief Clerks, Timekeepers, Checkers, Weighers, TIR Clerks, Tallymen and Inspectors for all stevedoring companies including cruise vessels doing business in one of the nation's busiest sea ports.
